One of the awesome things about Facebook is the ability to reconnect with people you have lost contact with over the span of a lifetime - nevermind that it sucks up a huge amount of time - I’ll live with that!

I reconnected with my good friend Laura on FB a few months back - and couldn’t have been happier! We met in elementary school when her family moved to Maryland and we went to school together all the way through elementary, middle and high school. We did Girl Scouts together, spent summers at the pool, were on Yearbook together, went to Prom together and Senior Beach Week…..you get the drift…there is A LOT of history there! And we lost touch and hadn’t seen each other in at least 15 years, so I couldn’t have been more excited to meet up with Laura, her hubby Walt and her two adorable kids, Collin and Chloe for a family photoshoot up in Bel Air! It was a hot and sunny morning - like we’ve had all summer this year - and we took some cute photos, played at the playground and had a delicious lunch!

Chloe was a happy, happy girl….until we took the bubbles away! Poor baby!

…than getting an AWESOME note from one of my couples! I just had to share this one, because I just think that it is SO sweet that they sent me a note from their honeymoon!! It just makes my day. No, scratch that, it makes my month! I LOVE MY CLIENTS!

Hey Jen,
Rather, Hola from Espana! We finally found some free wifi and thought it wouldn’t be right to not take a minute to say thanks. We truly enjoyed working with you on our wedding day…we can’t even imagine what the day would have been with anyone else. Your easygoing demeanor just helped to ease what could have been extra stress due to the imperfect weather conditions. We appreciate you standing in the rain juggling two cameras and an umbrella….talk about talent! We also really, really appreciate all the countless hours you put in on Saturday. You really went above and beyond. I hate to say it…but we decided to jump in the pool hand in hand in our clothes later in the evening. I guess as more time passed and more champagne was consumed the better the idea sounded, haha. Wish we’d just bitten the bullet and done it sooner, but oh well.

We hope you made it home in one piece with plenty of cookies for your girls!
