Marjorie & Jason’s Wedding

August 15th, 2008 by Jen Lowe

The second wedding of my double header weekend was spent with the delightful Marjorie and Jason, and I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding to round out the weekend!

I met up with Marjorie and the girls at Turf Valley while they were getting ready. And as luck would have it I got to hang out with my girls - Mindy Whalen and Nicole Palmero AGAIN! (Yes, that was two days in a row!) Everybody was in good spirits and looked beautiful. As the skies were looking ominous on and off, we just kept up the faith that the weather would hold out - and it did! I was so happy that the skies were sunny as I headed out for Marjorie and Jason to see each other for the first time. They decided to see each other before the ceremony, which I just love to capture! It is a great chance to photograph the couple as they react to seeing each other for the very first time - and Marjorie and Jason had a wonderful first glance!

After a lovely ceremony that dodged the rain outside in the gazebo at Turf Valley the party starteed! The reception was chock full of heartfelt toasts and good music provided by Point Blank. A fun time was had by all into the wee hours of the night!

Here are just a few of my favorites, but CLICK HERE to see the entire slideshow!

As I got Jason ready to see Marjorie he was truly so excited to see her! It was awesome to capture - this shot is right when he turned around and saw her.

Just love it!

m080208-205-copy.jpg

We got ALL the formals done before the ceremony, so everybody was nice and relaxed and we had plenty of time to get some great shots in before it got dark. It was really perfect!

Rabbi Khan got stuck in a really bad traffic accident and was running a bit late, so to kill the time and keep Marjorie calm I suggested that we go roll around on the piano. I think she thought I was joking at first, but she quickly realized that I meant it! We got a few cute shots and it kept her mind off of the fact that things were a little late to start - the art of diversion is wonderful.

Rabbi Khan also had very strict limits on how much photography was allowed during the ceremony, but here are a  few cute shots…

Emma & Chris’s Wedding

August 11th, 2008 by Jen Lowe

I hate to blog with no photos, so I’ll leave you with this while I am away - enjoy!!

Last weekend I started a fantastic ‘double-header’ weekend with Emma and Chris at a venue close to my heart, Grey Rock Mansion. I began the day by joining the girls and much of the immediate family in a suite at the Pikesville Hilton as everybody was getting ready. I always have fun spending time with the girls while they get ready, and it’s even more fun when I get to work with the talented and super fun Nicole Palmero and Mindy Whalen! We then headed to the beautiful Shrine of the Sacred Heart in Mt. Washington for a beautiful ceremony and following that it was off to Grey Rock Mansion for a great reception.  Santana, of Santana Entertainment, kept the dance floor hopping all night long and all their guests had a great time celebrating with Chris and Emma! They are both blessed with fantastic friends and families whom I thoroughly enjoyed spending the day with. They had a great wedding day and I wish them a wonderful marriage! Here are just a few of my favorites, but CLICK HERE to see their slideshow!

Going to the ocean….

August 11th, 2008 by Jen Lowe

I just returned from a most fabulous wedding, which I can’t wait to blog…

But in the meantime I am heading to the beach for a couple days with the family for a few days of sun and fun before it’s back to school! I will not have access to email, so please be patient! I’ll be back on Thursday and will get back to you then!

Thanks!
