Marjorie & Jason’s Wedding
The second wedding of my double header weekend was spent with the delightful Marjorie and Jason, and I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding to round out the weekend!
I met up with Marjorie and the girls at Turf Valley while they were getting ready. And as luck would have it I got to hang out with my girls - Mindy Whalen and Nicole Palmero AGAIN! (Yes, that was two days in a row!) Everybody was in good spirits and looked beautiful. As the skies were looking ominous on and off, we just kept up the faith that the weather would hold out - and it did! I was so happy that the skies were sunny as I headed out for Marjorie and Jason to see each other for the first time. They decided to see each other before the ceremony, which I just love to capture! It is a great chance to photograph the couple as they react to seeing each other for the very first time - and Marjorie and Jason had a wonderful first glance!
After a lovely ceremony that dodged the rain outside in the gazebo at Turf Valley the party starteed! The reception was chock full of heartfelt toasts and good music provided by Point Blank. A fun time was had by all into the wee hours of the night!
Here are just a few of my favorites, but CLICK HERE to see the entire slideshow!
Doesn’t she just look amazing?!
As I got Jason ready to see Marjorie he was truly so excited to see her! It was awesome to capture - this shot is right when he turned around and saw her.
Just love it!
We got ALL the formals done before the ceremony, so everybody was nice and relaxed and we had plenty of time to get some great shots in before it got dark. It was really perfect!
Rabbi Khan got stuck in a really bad traffic accident and was running a bit late, so to kill the time and keep Marjorie calm I suggested that we go roll around on the piano. I think she thought I was joking at first, but she quickly realized that I meant it! We got a few cute shots and it kept her mind off of the fact that things were a little late to start - the art of diversion is wonderful.
Rabbi Khan also had very strict limits on how much photography was allowed during the ceremony, but here are a few cute shots…
Here are a few shots of the ketubah signing.
A little photography in the dark - I really like how this one turned out! Special thanks to Caitlin for holding my fancy light for me!
Some first dance action…
Sweet moments during the many toasts…
This is the Horah dance - LOOOVE her expression here!
Sweet, right?
Jason was really feeling the love - at the end of the night he was toasting his guests!
And making funny faces!
And a few details for you…I loved her pretty gold shoes.
The bridesmaids dresses were such a pretty color and they all picked a style that suited them, which is always nice!
Marjorie’s dress was just gorgeous on her!

Super cute invites.
And last but not least - a ring shot…
Marjorie & Jason - it was a pleasure spending your wedding day with you and your friends and families! I hope the honeymoon was amazing and that you get settled into your new home upon your return! Best wishes for a great school year and a wonderful marriage! HUGS!
