OK ladies! Who wouldn’t like to get away for the weekend with some girlfriends - and to the beach - no less? On the weekend of March 20-22nd, 2009 JLowe Photos and Amie Decker will be hosting a ‘marathon’ boudoir session at the chic Hotel Blue in Lewes Delaware. There will be special package available this weekend only and we will be taking clients on a first come, first serve basis. We will only take 8-10 clients over the weekend, starting on Friday afternoon and going through Sunday.

I was so excited to spend Valentine’s Day with the wonderful Kirsten and Anthony this year! And imagine my horror when I called Kirsten on Thursday night and heard her say that she had the FLU!!!! Oh my gosh - I was so worried about her and just prayed that she was feeling better for her much anticipated wedding day. Thankfully Kirsten is a well planned bride and had EVERYTHING taken care of before she got sick.

I was so happy to see a smile on Kirsten’s face when I arrived at the Renaissance Harborplace! And what a fun bridal party Kirsten was surrounded with - her friends and family were so funny and fun. The girls were joined by Kim Schifflett, doing the girls hair and Theresa Olsen, taking care of all the makeup. And since the guys were getting ready at the hotel too, I even got to spend a little time with the boys before the ceremony.

After a lovely ceremony, we ran off to do a few quick portraits and then it was on to the party! Edwin Good and his staff at the Renaissance Harborplace kept the day flowing smooth and perfect from start to end. Colleen Reed of Divine Designs provided gorgeous florals for the day and there was a pretty cake from Cakes Plus, where Kirstin used to work! It was a great party with lots of fun dancing to capture. It was a great way to spend Valentine’s Day!

Kirsten & Anthony decided to lessen the stress and see each other before the ceremony, which was a very sweet moment. I love Anthony’s expression when he got his first glance of her….

Place cards tied to bottles of wine - nice! All of the paper goods were done by my friends over at Allison Barnhhill Designs, so of course they were all top notch.
