Kelsey the cute!

May 7th, 2009 by Jen Lowe

I got to go and visit little Miss Kelsey this week and we had a fun visit! Kelsey is the adorable little girl of another special teacher in my families life, so I was happy to go and take some photos to capture her cute little personality to commemorate her first birthday.

Kelsey has an equally adorable big sister, but she is sick, so we didn’t get many shots of her….I told her I was coming back this summer to take some of her too, even though her mom says she doesn’t like having her picture taken!

When I got there Kelsey was just waking up from her morning nap, and she wasn’t exactly sure WHO I was and WHY I was there so we started slow. This little one has a mind of her own, so I just spent my time running around after her to get the best shots of her. It was also funny to me that she was totally not interested in any of the goodies in my magic bucket - it’s usually a big hit, but she was really not interested and she actually CRIED when we tried the tutu! So we just went with the flow and got some super cute shots of this little one!

Here are a few of my favorites…

This shot captures the ‘imp’ in Kelsey - it cracks me up!

I just loved this dress - isn’t it cute!?

Then we pulled out the bubbles and she loved them!

I adore baby chub - the cheeks and lips and noses - so cute. And eventually all of that goes away, so it’s always nice to capture that time in a babies life! Kelsey has got the cutest profile!

This is Kelsey’s serious look…don’t mess with this girlie!

But then I got some smiles!

Kelsey loves to read this book - I guess it’s true what they say about teacher’s kids…LOL!

So funny!

And apparently Kelsey likes to be a nakie baby, so we stripped her down and asked her to show us her belly button….so funny! And then it was a wrap!

Thank you guys so much for sharing your day off with me! I can’t wait to come back and photograph the girls together! Happy Teacher Appreciation Week - we love you!
