A few weeks ago, on yet another rainy fall Saturday, I got to spend the day with Valerie and Tony for their wedding in Towson! And again, I had another bride and groom that did not let it ‘rain on their parade’! I met up with the girls at the Burkshire Marriott where they were getting dressed and putting on the finishing touches for the day. Valerie was so prepared that she even brought a printer along with her to the hotel - in case she needed to print anything at the last minute! These girls were on the ball - ready to go with plenty of time to spare! The ceremony was beautiful, a combination of Valerie’s Quaker upbringing and Tony’s, held at Haebler Memorial Chapel on the campus of Goucher College, a beautiful location, surrounded by all the beautiful fall foilage. And Mother Nature was even kind enough to push those clouds out of the way a little bit right after ceremony started! After some quick portraits at the church, everybody headed over to the Towson Sheraton for an awesome reception that was filled with great toasts, tasty cake by Debi’s Cake Studio, great tunes by Don & Sue Fowler from Dance Masters, and some awesome dance moves from this fun group of family and friends! It was a great day!!
So, enough talking - on with the photos!! Here are a few of my favorites, but CLICK HERE to see their slideshow!

And of course some details for you….

This beautiful Quaker Marriage Certificate was hand made by Sally Sanders - it’s beautiful! Everybody at the wedding signed it - what a wonderful keepsake!

Valerie and Tony - I had a great time documenting your wedding day and hope that you had as much fun as the rest of us did!! Hope the honeymoon was amazing - would love to hear all about it!! hugs!!

I was SO excited to get the call that our dear friends the Jacobsen’s welcomed baby Ryan into the world just a few weeks ago. And I was even more EXCITED to go and meet him when he was only 3 days old! (and of course any visit with one of our favorite teachers, her sweet hubby and Miss Ashlyn is always nice!). This sweet baby boy started life at a little over 9 pounds (which is amazing considering how tiny Danielle is!!) and has the sweetest cheeks I’ve ever seen! I’ll keep the chit chat to a minimum, because we all like to look at sweet little babies, right?! So here you go!

Danielle and Keith - THANK YOU for allowing me to continue capturing your family memories! I am looking forward to watching both these sweet kids grow and all your continued additions! We love you guys!

I knew that I would love Jody before I even met her! I had photographed her sister, Ashley, who I loved, so I knew her sister would be just as fun and I was super flattered that she called me for her wedding photography! And of course I knew that Jody and Jason would not disappoint! I had a great time with Jody and Jason’s at their engagement session! We met up EARLY on Sunday morning in downtown Ellicott City and wandered around to see what kind of trouble we could get into…..
So, I’ll keep it short and sweet and get to the picts! Here are a few of my favorites, but you can CLICK HERE to see their slideshow!
We started off the morning with their ‘baby’ - who joined us for a little bit of photo fun….she wasn’t too sure what to think of me and the camera!

Isn’t she sweet? It was SO tough to get this shot - it was like she was camera shy or something!

I love the LOVE in the shot!

I didn’t do anything to this - her eyes really are that blue! What a beauty!

This one gets my vote for Jason’s new FB profile picture!

This is where Jason proposed….but the restaurant is now closed - bummer!

Now - I was surprised that Jason asked to do the jump shots - because quite honestly it is usually the girls who want to do this….so I was SO SURPRISED at Jason’s performance here - he was a rock star! Check him out!!

Jody and Jason - I had so much fun with you guys and I can’t wait for your wedding next year!! hugs!
