I love Jacqueline and JJ! From the first time I met them I knew that we would have a fun time together! And even when their ‘big’ wedding plans changed to ’small intimate’ wedding plans I was super excited to work with this wonderful couple!
Jacqueline and JJ’s wedding was really special. After rethinking the ‘big’ wedding plans they ultimately chose to have a very intimate wedding at the Baltimore Museum of Art, surrounded by their families. Their bridal party included Jacqueline’s two sisters (who both got married recently as well - can you imagine having three daughters get married in ONE year?!!), her two cousins and both of JJ’s sisters! You could just feel the love that surrounded these two! It was really wonderful!
We had an absolutely gorgeous day for the wedding! I started the day with the ladies at the Courtyard Marriott, where they were getting ready. Lisa Augustiniack gave the girls gorgeous hair and good friend, and makeup artist, Lauren Costanzi, did beautiful makeup. From there we all headed over to the BMA for a beautiful ceremony on the patio performed by Reverend David Harness - it was a perfect day for an outdoor ceremony!
After some casual portraits, family members enjoyed an amazing brunch on the patio of Gertrude’s, with a few wedding traditions sprinkled in - cake cutting, father/daughter dance and first dance for the couple. All of their guests really enjoyed catching up and spending time together on this gorgeous day.
So, anyway - here are a few of my favorites but you can CLICK HERE to see their slideshow! (they did their first dance to a great song called ‘First Day of My Life’ by Bright Eyes…)

We had lots of fun shooting some casual portraits….

The lovely ladies…

And more lovely ladies - JJ’s awesome sisters who stood with him…

A little father/daughter dance…

And a First Dance for Jacqueline and JJ…

And some details…

An ancient Japanese legend promises that anyone who folds a thousand origami cranes will be granted a wish by a crane. The crane in Japan is one of the mystical or holy creatures, and is said to live for a thousand years. In Asia, it is commonly said that folding 1000 paper origami cranes makes a person’s wish come true. I don’t think Jacqueline got 1,000 folded, but they sure were pretty!!

What a cute ’signature’ matte - their guests used their fingerprint to make leaves or birds on the tree and then signed their name to the print!! SO CUTE!

Gorgeous flowers by Fleur De Lis…

Cute little cake by Tenzo!

Jacqueline and JJ - you guys are awesome! I hope the party was lots of fun and that your honeymoon was AMAZING!!! Hope to see you again soon!! hugs!!
